I suspect this poem is autobiographical. It speaks of a woman who refuses to sing in the spring but waits til the fall. She prefers to be different and it seems like a veil from which the author is hiding behind. I don't mind it. I rate it a five out of ten.

i read this poem too. i don't know if it is biographical or not, but i do agree that it is about someone who is trying to be different and stand out from the rest. i also interpreted it as someone who finds the unusual or not typically beautiful things in life worth celebrating.
